Breathe Mindfully

  1. Sit comfortably in a quiet place with your back straight.

  2. Take a deep breath in through your nose and feel your chest and belly expand.

  3. Slowly exhale through your mouth, and feel your chest and belly go back to their original position.

  4. Focus your attention on your breath. Notice the sensation of the air moving in and out of your body.

  5. If your mind wanders, gently bring your attention back to your breath.

  6. Continue to breathe in this way for a few minutes, feeling calm and relaxed.
