On the surface, this is a deck of 52 cards, each with 4 interview questions listed. The questions on each card build off of each other, much like would occur in a real interview. I ordered this without realizing that it was so heavily geared towards young adults. The questions are focused towards those who are leaving, recently left or are continuing on in academia. (Think college entrance interviews.) That being said, the cards could easily be adapted for use by a seasoned professional. I kept hoping that the deck would include some sort of introduction or instructions… perhaps even a game that could be played. No such luck. I do like the breakdown that the author gives, categorizing the questions into 4 different focus areas. Other than the focus areas, this boils down to a list of interview questions….not really novel, nor exciting. The author would have considerably increased the value of this product with just a few additional features… maybe methods for getting over jitters or an overview of different interview styles, what to do if the interview goes south, how to most effectively use the cards. There is a lot of additional value that could have been included. Hands down, my biggest problem with this deck is that all of the 52 “skills” are not flipping skills!!! Some of them are…maybe half. Many of them are values, attributes, characteristics, behaviors…not skills. If you cannot deliver on the title of your product, consider renaming your product. This might seem like a pedantic thing to get hung up on, but words mean things! A few of the cards even focus on communication. Perhaps someone should gift the author this deck….
Thought I ordered a self-help book to get me back out there with a firmer grip on what interview questions are like; therefore giving me a confidence boost when the time comes. I worked for the same employer for so many years, and I truly didn't think I would ever NEED to be interviewed again until my employer passed away and his kin closed up shop unexpectedly. These cards have really blown me away- I can't believe some of the tricky questions employers want you to maneuver around 😳
Son de un excelente material plástico, son resistentes y no se rompen. Son preguntas fáciles de contestar y te prepara muy bien para entrevistas.
Surprisingly, I used these questions to get to know people on dates and the way they responded told me everything I needed to know without me going on a second date. I never had to waste any time. Fantastic tool and conversation starter. It also helped deepen my conversations with my now long term partner for a year and 3 weeks.
I had to email over and over just to get the cheat sheets that should display on their site. Not even close to the hype, no explanations on the cards, just a huge waste of money.
I use these as a transition exercise with my special education students. It's an awesome addition to my tools and a great way to switch things up with them. They really get talking allowing for great discussion and feedback.
I love this deck and can’t wait to get more of these decks in the collection. I think they are well thought out and very helpful.
I was unsure what to expect with this set of cards not being able to fully look at some of the examples in the deck for my subgroup.I was impressed for the cost and the fact they were stock Q&A. I would recommend.

I work with high schoolers, and we just started a class for students to prep for college. A lot of it will be writing essays and filling out paperwork, but this will be a great addition. We'll start each class with the students drawing cards and answering the questions. Really think this will help them do well on real interviews.
I used the cards to do mock interviews with my son on our recent roadtrip. I liked that each card gives you core questions related to a specific admissions evaluation criteria. That was KEY to finally getting my teen to organize his thoughts and come up with compelling stories about himself. What impressed me most was how current the content is. These cards are useful for college, internship and job interviews.
