I would want the world to know that dementia doesn’t take away my ability to feel love, happiness, pride, sadness. I still have emotions but sometimes forget things that are important to me.

It is hard to live with dementia because you worry about losing your most important memories and forgetting the ones you love the most.

My grandchildren bring joy to my heart every day. I place pictures of them around the house to see their faces all the time.
